2025 Serving In BVCC Children's Ministry - Inquiry

 Serve on the frontline of care for our littlest ones while their grown-ups participate in ministry. Through play, stories, and a safe, welcoming environment, you’ll share God’s love and make a lasting impact on our precious kiddos.

 Girls Club is a Wednesday night program (7–8:15 PM) for girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade, with a special coed Sunlight Kids class for 2–3 year-olds and a coed Rainbow Kids group for 4–5 year-olds. Through activities, achievements, and Bible-based lessons, girls grow in godly character, build friendships, and discover a sense of belonging—earning badges as they learn and live out God’s Word.

 Rangers is a Wednesday night program (7–8:15 PM) for boys in Kindergarten through 12th grade, with coed Sunlight Kids (2–3 year-olds) and Rainbow Kids (4–5 year-olds). In small groups, boys grow in their faith, character, and leadership through hands-on activities, Bible study, and skill-building. The goal is to equip the next generation to be Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.

Confient Kids and Parents help kids build healthy skills to understand, talk about, and cope with life circumstances in positive ways. Children learn through life-skills lessons, a supportive group environment, and fun activities—while parents attend their own group at the same time. Curriculum and guidance are provided, so no professional experience is needed to serve.

 Join our creative team and help shape the look and feel of every space where kids gather—whether for weekly services or special events. No professional experience is needed, just a willing heart (and sometimes a love for painting outside the lines!).

Connection and consistency help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus. As a volunteer, you’ll partner with our Children’s Pastor and Ministry Leaders to bring the Bible to life and show God’s love in practical ways. Serving once a month—on the same Sunday each month—can capture a child’s heart for Jesus, bless their family, and influence a generation for good.

 For the safety of our kids, everyone 18 and older who serves in Children’s Ministry must complete a background check. We use a secure third-party system called CheKr, which will contact you directly by email or text. The process is simple, free of charge, and only requires answering a few questions. By checking the box below, you authorize BVCC to request your background check.
